A Paradise of Objects at Collective Design Fair

Collective is a new design fair in New York City. In May 2014 we could enjoy the second edition of Collective which presented a thoroughly curated selection of the best in contemporary and 20th-century design. This is the case when Art meets Design. Beautiful art and design objects were exhibited by emerging and established galleries.

From the extraordinary Scandinavian antique to the installation of thousands of small aluminium airplanes suspended in a cloud formation – you could have it all there.

As the Collective reports, “the fair was a great success, welcoming a record 8,000-plus visitors, hosting 36 exhibitors—17 new to Collective—and celebrating significant sales to museums, major private collections”.

Enjoy the pictures of inspiring  design and art objects!

Dienst + Dotter Antikviteter demonstrated Scandinavian, Italian, and German objects, among which there was a vintage Tage Andersen birdcage with two live hens.
