Whitney Biennial 2026: a few sound installations including the one about surveillance, by Cooper Jacoby: A very touching exhibition, Immigrant Song, curated by Peter Schelfhaudt at the University of Bridgeport. Stunning work by Rick Shaefer – E Pluribus (CCL) Some unexpected works at the New Museum exhibition, New Humans: El Lissitzky, Francis Picabia, Lavinia Schultz and Walter Holdt, Henrik Olesen (one would rather expect to see them at MoMA). When people ask to describe what’s on now inside the renovated New Museum, it’s hard to explain. Plan about 4 hours to view the ‘New Humans: Memories of the Future’, and we’ll discuss the meaning(s) and message(s). Affordable Art Fair is here for two more full days. This is the only fair where the visitors buy art in droves 😊 Every few minutes you can see someone carrying wrapped artworks home. The majority of the artworks are priced at less than $5K. Confidence may build quietly or slowly: every time you share your art, apply to something new, or show up to your practice. SPECTALIA - Every Woman Biennial 2026 at Pen+ Brush NYC || 400 badass artworks on view and for sale 💥💥💥 Do creative people need discipline?.. 🤔😊 Please advise.
