Surprisingly, many creative beings and professional artists still underestimate the importance of having online profiles and contact information available just at one click. That’s why our recent meetup, Art Terrace, was truly live and active, with a lot of questions from newcomers and our old fellows.
Every month RE:ARTISTE invites artists, designers, business professionals and art collectors to meet up on its Art Terrace in Midtown, New York.
On October 9th we gathered again to meet new artists and art enthusiasts and to talk about the Internet in the artist career.
Key highlights:
- Your smart online presence can open the doors for you worldwide. Your task is to choose the platform which is right for you.
- Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram are widely popular websites to build your profile or page there.
- There are other platforms intended to be more streamlined. They are less popular with people, and not all of them survived the competition (e.g., Sulia). You can still try Pheed, Bubblews, Learni.st
As for e-commerce, you can also use the existing templates to build your own online storefront, or you can submit your artwork to RE:ARTISTE.
Looking forward to seeing you at our next meetup! Feel free to email your questions (info@reartiste.com) or post them on RE:ARTISTE’s Facebook page!
