Come with us to Chelsea! Here’s just a few Fall-Winter exhibitions in pictures / videos: Frank O. Gehry passed away. An experimentator who challenged materials and conventional shapes - from giant buildings to smaller objects, like furniture. Studio visit with Oxana Kovalchuk, a mixed-media artist working with paper, glass, LED, and other materials. She started her artist career only in 2019, yet through persistence and discipline has already exhibited in multiple museums, art centers, and galleries across the country. You’ve come far enough to feel proud of the work you’ve done. Sometimes the most creative thing artists (and entrepreneurs!) can do is stop. Taking a pause — through music, cooking, or simply doing nothing — helps ideas grow. Meeting friends, neighbors, and fellow artists also counts ✔️👊🏼😊 Neither of the major art fairs endorse pop-ups as their “parallel program.” Think twice before paying high rent for a three-day show during a major art week in New York. “I am convinced that there can be no freedom in the social space. Freedom is always a breakthrough, a departure from the social space.” NOV 19 at 7 PM 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾 Let’s break the algorithm and meet each other off-line again! Take a moment to review your expenses and records before the year ends - it’ll make your life much easier during tax return season (starting January 1).
